Our stylist Caricature Artists usually can draw:
- 8-15 caricatures per hour, when guests come through a line
- lower numbers in daycares, childcares or similar settings
- with permanent marker
- in black & white and/or color
- on 11 X 11 or 8 x 11 sketch paper
- 20-30% fewer drawings if they are more detailed
Our talented artists can sketch your guests with the traditional big head on a stylish fashionable body. Minimizing color and details streamlines the process and allows more guests to be captured in caricature.
For private parties, schedule at least 2 hours, so the artist is not rushed. This also allows your guests time to warm up to the activity and start the line. This amount of time also provides the artist the flexibility to do group drawings, as well as individual portraits.
For corporate events, consider scheduling 2.5 hours for 20 or more guests and 1 additional hour for every additional 10-12 guests.
For gatherings with large numbers of guests and non-stop lines, consider inviting more than 1 Caricature Artist for your event. Keeping lines moving will prevent your guests from feeling like they're missing the party while waiting for a caricature.
You will need to provide:
- 1 table & 2 chairs
- shaded area if outdoors

LOGISTICS
Here are some important details to make your special performance even more AWESOME:
Adult supervision IS REQUIRED at all times!
Keep your eye on your party guests to help everyone have the best time — including our entertainers! Please prevent guests from hitting or tugging on a costume, performer or equipment. The artist may end the performance if this occurs repeatedly — or if unsupervised guests make the event unsafe.
Don't forget to provide performers access to entrances, including parking passes where needed.
All activities may vary, subject to the limitations of each act and the overall situation at your event. No guarantees are made that all activities will take place as planned. When planning activities for the performer, keep in mind they should be simple, considering costume and equipment limitations.
We do not play themed music for any performer.
Live entertainers require reasonable breaks, suitable to the venue and event, taken at their discretion. Extreme heat or other event conditions may require more frequent or longer than normal breaks for extreme acts, costumed actors, performers, clowns and other similar entertainers.
We may adjust start times for entertainers and will coordinate this with you. All live entertainment start times are subject to a 20-minute scheduling adjustment window on the day of your event.
Our entertainers, staff and crew are allowed to accept tips, but payment for extra performance hours must be made directly to Awesome Entertainment.
Please ask about performance and operational details BEFORE FINALIZING your reservation, including any site conditions specific to the acts you are booking. Safety is our highest concern, and some performances require basic considerations before they begin.
A number of things may affect a live performance, including weather conditions, site conditions, guest behavior, water and electric sources.
We encourage you and your guests to take photos, record video or post about our performers at your event, which you may use on social media, websites and any other positive public forum.
AWESOME ENTERTAINMENT DOES NOT OFFER OR PRESENT ANY LICENSED AND/OR COPYRIGHTED CHARACTERS. Our created costumed actors/characters are inspired by classic stories or current media but have their own individual names. Any resemblance to nationally known copyrighted characters or brands is strictly coincidence, so you must not refer to them when you promote Awesome Entertainment's performers at your event.
