  • Fulfillment Team (delivery and set up crew)

This is a full-time, seasonal position that may lead to a year-round position with our company. Job overview Our Fulfillment Team Members have direct contact with clients as they deliver, install and sometimes operate rides, attractions and party equipment. These may be dunk tanks, waterslides, bounce houses, mechanical bulls, concessions, thrones, tents or carnival games. They have hands-on responsibility for making events awesome and often see firsthand the delight our services bring to others. A Sales Associate is often the first contact a client has with our awesomeness, working directly with them to select and reserve amusement equipment, attractions, rides, party furnishings or entertainment. A Sales Associate plays a critical role in our process, not just because this starts the ball rolling for each client event, but there is often important follow up with our Logistics, Fulfillment and Entertainment Teams. This is a full-time, year-round staff position. Job overview Our Operators/Attendants are never bored! They work directly with clients and event guests and could be costumed characters, casino night dealers, amusement ride operators and hands on activity leaders at private parties, corporate gatherings, community festivals and parades. This is an in-house staff member role. Job overview Our Warehouse Supervisor supports our Warehouse Team Manager and our Fulfillment Team in preparing, delivering, installing and operating rides, attractions and party equipment. These may be dunk tanks, waterslides, bounce houses, mechanical bulls, concessions, thrones, tents or carnival games. This Supervisor will be organized, accountable, responsible and reliable in learning the aspects of this job, troubleshooting both problems in the warehouse and out in the field at events, leading trainings related to our entertainment and party equipment and managing a staff of summer seasonal workers. Job overview Our full-time, year-round Fulfillment Manager leads the Team in successfully, effectively and efficiently fulfilling client orders. The Fulfillment Manager supports all aspects of AFE Operations, especially the delivery, installation and retrieval of all AFE equipment -- which could include dunk tanks, waterslides, bounce houses, mechanical bulls, concessions, thrones, tents or carnival games. The candidate we are seeking must have a great work ethic, good communication skills, positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Explore it all at Awesome Family Entertainment. Job overview Our Will Call Attendant is the point person for customer pickups and returns to our warehouse. In addition to pulling and organizing equipment for pickup, this Team Member completes client paperwork and explains how to work concession machines, inflatables, carnival games and other amusement equipment. Our Will Call Attendant takes the mystery out of our equipment and fans client enthusiasm for their big event.     Our company produces nearly 3,200 events each year, and we’re seeking a talent supervisor to recruit and manage a growing roster of entertainers, performers and attendants for private parties, corporate events and community festivals. Awesome Family Entertainment LLC is in its 27th year of renting amusements, attractions, concession machines, party furniture and providing personnel to both operate equipment such as concession machines, foam parties and build-a-toy activities, as well as to entertain as casino night dealers, face painters, balloon twisters, costumed mascots and fairytale princesses or superheroes. AFE also recruits and engages specialty acts such as magicians, stilt walkers and caricature artists for events. AFE pays its employees weekly, with holiday pay, shift differential and overtime rates as eligible. In addition to a fair hourly wage, AFE offers eligible employees an accrued paid vacation time program, group health, vision and dental insurance, as well as voluntary life insurance coverage. We are unique in offering significant employee discounts on attractions, games and entertainment. This is a full-time staff position. Key job duties of AFE’s Talent Supervisor will include the following: Strategically recruit — through ads, job fairs, job training programs, local entertainment organizations, schools and universities, conventions and other opportunities — the talent to operate attractions such as bounce houses and mechanical bulls, to perform in character such as casino dealers, mascots and princesses, and to entertain with skills such as face painting, caricatures or magic; as well as help grow and improve AFE’s recruitment process for entertainers and seasonal warehouse workers; Maintain and grow AFE’s roster of in-house and contracted entertainers by ensuring that attendants and performers are trained in a wide range of skills to operate equipment, host activities and provide the professional entertainment AFE offers its clients, as well as explain and enforce AFE policies and standards of quality expected of its personnel; as well as strengthen and grow AFE’s training and retention processes; Work with AFE’s Sales, Logistics, Fulfillment and Finance Teams to most efficiently and effectively provide entertainment offerings to AFE’s clients and improve those collaborative systems, including providing weekly coverage for Entertainer Scheduling to monitor gigs that need assigning on the primary scheduler’s days off and providing information and support for the entertainer payroll process; Gain and maintain skills to step in to perform entertainment gigs and gig support (calling clients, travel arrangements, troubleshooting performer event issues, etc.) when necessary and being willing to stay overnight for events when necessary; Perform the functions of a lead event coordinator, as the point person on site at events and as a liaison between the event’s client and other AFE personnel, and train other AFE event coordinators to provide consistent quality service to clients; as well as grow and improve AFE’s event coordinator program; Assist AFE staff regarding costuming, props and other entertainment equipment in coordination with AFE’s Warehouse Manager and Operations Manager; and collaborate on creating and improving all related systems; Create reports and maintain databases for AFE management, handle basic administrative tasks and otherwise respond by deadlines on projects to move forward AFE’s Entertainment Team.
